Networking can be fun!
When you own your own business and you need to drum up some work… where do you go? NETWORKING!
Networking can be a lot of fun. I recently went to a Mardi Gras inspired networking party at Champlin & Associates. They really go all out and do it all for a good cause. I was able to meet Ex NFL player Roland Williams, a two time Super Bowl champ, who happens to be a holding the Heisman Trophy. He does a lot of good for the Rochester community with his Champions Academy program. He helps kids that are not doing good in school to do great things by coaching them and talking to them.
I also met a bunch of friends from other networking groups like BNI and Visit Rochester, who have become close friends. It made the night a very fun night. Especially wearing costumes and taking pictures! Go Mardi Gras!
